Imaging recource: Print on-the-fly with Polaroid’s new Zip mobile printer

In January, Polaroid announced the impending arrival of its Polaroid Zip mobile printer. Today, the Zip printer goes live, bringing Polaroid’s proprietary Zink (Zero-Ink) technology to the next level. The Zip printer uses Bluetooth/NFC technology to crank out 2x3-inch color prints from iOS or Android devices. This is done through Polaroid’s Zink technology, which uses a small element to heat amorphochromic crystals embedded inside the paper.
