Imaging recource: Sony forecasts 20% growth in sensor sales for 2015 despite struggling to keep up with demand

Earlier this week Reuters shared a report wherein Sony’s Tomoyuki Suzuki, head of device solutions business, shared this year’s estimated sensor sales numbers, which are expected to grow 20% year-over-year. This would put Sony at half of last year’s 40% year-over-year growth. But, according to Suzuki, it’s due to too much of a good thing -- demand.
