Imaging recource: Tough enough to save your lens? Hoya’s new HD3 filters might make you care how your filters are built

Alright, so they might not be made out of Gorilla Glass, but filter manufacturer Hoya has announced a new lineup of HD3 photography filters that are said to be four times stronger than ‘standard optical glass’ and antireflective coatings that are 800% harder than the previous HD2 generation filters, all while letting in 99.7% of light.
