Like much of the DPReview staff, editor Barney Britton is a self-proclaimed super-fan of the 35mm focal length. The Sony Cyber-shot RX1R II has the same permanently affixed 35mm F2 lens as its predecessor, but it is backed up by almost completely new internals, including the same 42MP full-frame sensor and autofocus system as the Sony a7R II. Barney's put the RX1R II through its paces in a wide variety of shooting scenarios, and shares his thoughts about what's new, what isn't, and more importantly, whether or not the Mark II version is worth the upgrade.
