The Panasonic ZS100 pairs a versatile 10x optical zoom (25-250mm f/2.8-5.9 equivalent) lens with a relatively large 1"-type sensor -- the largest sensor size ever used in Panasonic's ZS series of compact cameras -- putting it squarely in competition with Sony's venerable RX100 series.
