Imaging recource: Sigma reports lens mount scratching issue with Pentax K-1, prepares fix for affected lenses

    Third-party lens maker Sigma has today disclosed a potential issue with some of its lenses when used in concert with the just-released Pentax K-1 DSLR. Three current Sigma lenses and eight discontinued models are affected, and each can cause a minor scratch to appear in the K-1's body directly above the lens mount. The problem occurs only with the K-1, due to the mount on the Sigma optic protruding slightly further than that on first-party lenses, and Sigma notes that it is preparing a replacement part for optics suffering...
