Teardowns are a handy way to satisfy the urge to see what's inside expensive and prized electronics, while remaining a safe distance away and keeping warranties intact.
Behold, a teardown of the Sony 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS, a lens that sells for $2600. Its production has faced delays since its announcement in February, so even if you have the guts to take one apart yourself, it's been difficult to get ahold of. Sony's own SGNL YouTube channel does the dirty work for us anyhow, giving us a close-up look at the inner workings of the fast full-frame zoom.
