Blake Rudis of f64 Academy made a video to help breakdown a couple of powerful, but very different, blend modes in Photoshop: the color and luminosity blend modes. To borrow an example from Rudis, suppose you are making a curves adjustment in Photoshop. If your blend mode is “normal,” the adjustment will change tone and color in your image.
