Leica has expanded its SL system of lenses with an ultra-wide angle zoom lens, the long-rumored Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16-35mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH. The lens has been designed with a diverse range of uses in mind, including landscape, architecture, wedding, event and concert photography. To help with the latter trio of genres, the lens has been equipped with what Leica calls "supremely quick and quiet autofocus."
