Canon has announced a new superzoom PowerShot camera, the PowerShot SX740 HS. The SX740 HS boasts a 40x optical zoom lens which offers a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-960mm and features a 20.3-megapixel CMOS image sensor. The camera is powered by Canon's latest DIGIC 8 image processor, which allows the camera to shoot at up to 10 frames per second and record 4K UHD video at up to 29.97 fps, the latter feature is a first for the PowerShot series.
