An intriguing new patent from Canon shows off the optical formula for a non-fisheye EF 10mm f/2.8 lens. Filed back in November of 2013, Patent Publication No. 2015–102620 (translated) shows off what could very well become the widest non-fisheye lens Canon has ever produced. From the illustration, it appears the lens will consist of 15 elements in 7 groups.
